Days ago, Cancun Nautical Associates (ANC) and the Parque Nacional Costa Occidental de Isla Mujeres, Punta Cancun and Punta Nizuc, presented a project to build an underwater museum.

The "Underwater Sculpture Museum" includes the installation of 200 life-size figures, including a Mayan army. The project aims to give natural reefs to relax the pressure to which they are subjected by the visit of tourists, because it is the most visited protected area around Mexico.
