For its strategic location, at the gates of Rajasthan, the Kings built a strong and Mongols the walls surrounding the citadel, built a palace and fortress built to higher defense.

The Amber Fort is located in a palace complex or Amber Ajmer, about 11 km from Jaipur, from where excursions depart to hear.

The visit to the Fort and its palaces has a big surprise, since the walks can be mounted on the back of an elephant, accessed by paved ramps. Enjoy the beautiful sights of Jaipur, the lake Maotha spread along an area with gardens and the original walls of the city. Tourism, Amber is associated with the circuit that connects Jaisalmer and Jodhpur or Jaipur and Delhi.
