Tallahassee, Old Capitol
Continuing with the articles on the peninsula of Florida, on sites and attractions that we know during the holidays in this important and prominent tourist destination in the U.S., today it's up the northwest sector washed by the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, bordering the states of Alabama and Georgia. This sector is also known as the "Panhandle" where miles are very white sand beaches by the presence of a large percentage of powdered crystalline silica.
Here lies the capital of the State of Florida, the city of Tallahassee, a place with provincial atmosphere, small administrative center and a museum, where travelers can learn more about the evolutionary history of Florida. The city has two capitols, the old, which is open during the week to be visited by tourists, and the new, large, here is the first U.S. government installed after buying the land from Spain in 1823.
During a tour of the place we will see oak woodlands and mansions dating from the era before the Civil War. You can also enjoy various historical attractions traveling in a replica tram early nineteenth century. To the south, about 25 km is Wakulla Springs, where they filmed the first movie Tarzan. It is a natural source of water that can travel in a glass-bottomed boat, especially the large variety of fish that inhabit the bottom of this natural cave 60 meters deep.
To the west lies Apalachicola National Forest, a vast expanse of wilderness with swamps, rivers and savannas. It has numerous trails to be explored by foot and vehicle. Here the fauna is represented by cold-blooded animals such as reptiles, amphibians, and the water snake called mocassin. In addition, a permanent variety of birds and migratory birds arriving from Canada seeking the mild climate, thus constituting a fantastic place for bird watching.

Panama City Beach
Another tourist spot that we know is Panama City Beach, a very long beach, about 43 km in length, with a major shopping center, located 160 km east of Pensacola. During the summer, this Florida beach tourist influx is such that it speaks of the "magical one hundred days."
This place is all designed to entertain visitors and tourists, where its theme parks are spectacular, with water games, a coral island for specific activities, and dunes of St. Andrew Bay beaches to be traversed in prepared for the ground vehicles, or scuba diving among ships that have foundered.

Pensacola
Meanwhile, Pensacola is the last district of northwest Florida, with a very wide door to the north. Across the bay is located on Santa Rosa Island and Pensacola Beach, white sand and lively nightlife.
Here, those travelers who love history and architecture can make a pedestrian tourist circuit to appreciate the various mansions and homes of its historic district, divided into Seville and North Hill Palafox.
